The crew at Resurrection Distillery believe spirits are a mix of art and science. Getting the mix right is what they’re aiming for.

Just 8 km from the heart of Twizel, they operate out of two shipping containers and use a combination of solar and generated power. They’re looking to make an impact on the NZ spirits scene with hand-crafted, small batch runs of spirit. They know they’re on an evolution and hope people will jump on that train and follow their journey.

All their bottles contain Mackenzie Region botanicals; maize, rye, and barley from the Canterbury Plains and water drawn from an aquifer 40 meters under the factory.

Spend an hour on-site with the guys who craft the Rusty Halo Gin, a true taste of New Zealand with big bold Manuka flavours, and Gunnrunner White Whiskey, young, fresh, clear and clean.
