St. Patrick’s Church

This quaint little historic wooden church is nestled in the heritage village of Burkes Pass, just 15 minutes from Lake Tekapo or Fairlie. Its intimate atmosphere is perfect for small weddings. The charming front porch with a view is ideal for a memorable photograph. Your chosen style for ceremony and celebrant/minister is very welcome and a local person is available for assistance. This is a hidden gem, the first pioneer church built in the vast Mackenzie area in 1872, and now is being made available for your use by the Burkes Pass Heritage Trust.
